Public Assistance Sought in Brampton Homicide Investigation

Region of Peel – Investigators from Peel Regional Police’s Homicide Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in locating an armed and dangerous man in connection with a fatal shooting.
On Monday, Oct. 21, 2025, at approximately 1:54 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in a plaza parking lot in the area of Airport Road and Queen Street.
Upon arrival, officers located a female victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The suspect, 38-year-old Anthony Deschepper, is believed to have fled the area in a black 2024 Nissan Kicks with Quebec license plate FRV4520. His one-year-old daughter, was in the back seat of the vehicle but was later located by police in good health.
The suspect remains outstanding and is described as a White male, 5’9” tall, 175 lbs, with a thin build, short brown hair, hazel eyes, and clean shaven. He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured hoodie, blue jeans, and carrying a black crossbody bag.
He is considered armed and dangerous. Members of the public are urged not to approach the suspect or vehicle. If seen, please call 9-1-1 immediately.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have dashcam or surveillance footage, or any information, to contact the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau at 905-453-2121, ext. 3205.
