Police Seeking Suspect Identity in Assault with a Weapon Incident
Region of Peel - Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects in an Assault with a Weapon incident at a gas station in the City of Mississauga.
On Saturday, July 4, 2020, at approximately 12:33 a.m., the victim was at his place of work located at Eglinton Ave, East and Tomken Road in the City of Mississauga.
The victim was working at the cash register when the two male suspects entered the store of the gas station.
The suspects proceeded to the back of the store where they ignited a roman candle (firework). Suspect #1 then ran towards the victim and began to aim the firework at the victim while Suspect #2 filmed the entire event on a cellular phone. The victim suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident.
Investigators are appealing for the public’s assistance in identifying the two suspects.
Suspect #1 is described as Male, black, late teens, long black hair, wearing red shoes, black pants, and a dark blue shirt with yellow Nike writing
Suspect #2 is described as Male, black, late teens, long black hair, wearing black Nike flip
flops, and light blue jeans.
