Police Seeking Public’s Assistance in Fraud Investigation

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Fraud Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) fraud investigation.

On Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. an adult male suspect identifying himself as Samuel Kesky contacted the victim, an 85 year old female from Mississauga, by phone and stated that he is from the CRA. The suspect told the victim to withdraw a large amount of cash from her financial institution and meet with him to turn over the money. The victim complied with the suspects demand.

The suspect is described as male, south asian, in his 30’s, 5’8”, medium complexion, short black hair, medium to heavy build.

Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at the Fraud Bureau at (905) 453–2121, ext. 3331.  Information may also be left anonymously by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or by visiting www.peelcrimestoppers.ca.
