Police Prevent Armed Robbery of Pizza Store
Region of Peelâ Investigators from Peel Regional Police Central Robbery Bureau have charged two men preparing to commit a robbery of a pizza store.
On September 28, 2018, at approximately 10:25pm, two men were observed in the parking lot of a pizza store at the corner of McLaughlin Road and Bovaird Drive, Brampton. The men were wearing masks and looking into stores and vehicles. One of the two men opened the door to the pizza store and surveyed how many people were inside. He returned to his accomplice when uniform officers stopped them and they were arrested. A search of both accused revealed two replica firearms, gloves and the masks they were wearing.
Jacob JIMINEZ an 18 year-old male from the City of Brampton has been charged with Robbery, Use Imitation Firearm While Committing Offence, Disguise With Intent and Fail To Comply with Recognizance.
Telique RICKETTS an 18 year-old male from the City of Brampton has been charged with Robbery, Use Imitation Firearm While Committing Offence and Disguise With Intent.
Both men were held in custody pending a bail hearing on September 29, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice, Davis Courthouse, Brampton, Ontario.
