Police Make Arrests in Stolen Vehicle Investigation

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested and charged six people in relation to a stolen vehicle investigation.

On Wednesday, Janaury 30, 2019, at approximately 11:51 a.m., police located a stolen vehicle at the intersection of Kennedy Road and Williams Parkway in the City of Brampton occupied by one adult and 5 youths.

As a result of the investigation, the below individuals have been charged:

Shehram Hundel, an 18 year-old-man from Brampton, was charged with one count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and three counts of Failure to Comply with Sentence. He was held for a bail hearing and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Thursday, January 31, 2019.

A 15-year-old male youth from Brampton was charged with one count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and was held for a bail hearing. He will appear at the Ontario Court of Justic in Brampton on Thursday, January 31, 2019.

A 15-year-old male youth from Orangeville was arrested and charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and one count of Fail to Comply with Undertaking. He was held for a bail hearing and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Thursday, January 31, 2019.

A 15-year-old female youth from Brampton charged with three counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. She will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton at a later date.

A 14-year-old female youth from Brampton was charged with one count of Property Obtained by Crime and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton at a later date.

A 13-year-old male from Toronto was arrested and charged with three counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and one count of Dangerous Operation. He was held for a bail hearing and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Thursday, January 31, 2019.
