Police Make Arrests in a Mississauga Shooting
Region of Peel â Investigators from the Peel Regional Police 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have recovered a firearm and arrested three men for attempted murder and various firearms related charges in Mississauga.
On Sunday, December 16, 2018 at approximately 7:50 p.m. officers responded to the plaza at Derry Road West and McLaughlin Road in the City of Mississauga for a shooting. The victim, a 22 year-old man from Mississauga, attended a Toronto trauma centre with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators arrested three men in relation to this incident, and recovered a loaded .357 Magnum Smith and Wesson revolver.
Jarmain Gordan, a 22 year-old man from Mississauga, was arrested and charged with Attempted Murder, Discharge Firearm and numerous other firearms offences.
Kevaun Parkes, a 20 year-old man of no fixed address, and Delton Parchment, a 27 year-old man of no fixed address, were arrested and charged with Attempted Murder and numerous firearms offences.
All three accused were held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice on Monday, December 17, 2018.
