Police Identify Suspect in Assault on Male with Autism

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have identified one of the three males responsible for a vicious assault on a male with autism, in the City of Mississauga.

On Tuesday March 13, 2018 at approximately 10:45 p.m. Peel Regional Police responded to a violent assault that occurred in the Square One bus terminal located at 200 Rathburn Road West in Mississauga.

As a result of overwhelming tips from the community, investigators have identified one of the suspects as, Ronjot Singh DHAMI, a 25 year-old male of no fixed address.  His last known address is in Surrey, British Columbia.

A Canada-wide arrest warrant for DHAMI has been issued and he is wanted for one count of Aggravated Assault.

DHAMI and the other two suspects may still be in the GTA and are being encouraged to call a lawyer and surrender to police.

Anyone who sees DHAMI or the other suspects is asked to call police immediately, and do not approach as they are extremely dangerous.
