Police Identify Male in Assault Investigation

Region of Peel– Investigators from the Special Victims Unit were seeking assistance from the public, in identifying a suspect involved in an assault investigation.

On the evening of Friday, June 8, 2018 at the Mississauga Valley Community Centre, in the City of Mississauga.  The suspect was in the pool area when he assaulted an 11-year-old female and 12-year-old male both from the Mississauga area. No injuries were sustained by either victim.

Investigators have since identified the male and would like to thank the public for their assistance in this investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at the Special Victim’s Unit at  (905) 453–2121, ext. 3460.  Anonymous information may also be submitted by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), by visiting peelcrimestoppers.ca.
