Police Arrest Male in Sexual Assault Investigation (1)

Region of Peel– Investigators from the Special Victims Unit have arrested a male party in relation to a sexual assault investigation.

In the early morning hours of September 2, 2018, the victim was in her residence, in the area of Massey Street and Mallard Crescent, in the City of Brampton. The victim was confronted by the suspect who had broken into her home and sexually assaulted her. The suspect then fled the residence.

Through investigation, police determined that this incident was connected to another break and enter which had occurred in the area of North Park Drive and Bramalea Road.

On November 16, 2018, Clayton Alexander Williams, a 39-year-old male from the City of Brampton was arrested and charged with two counts of Break and Enter, Possession of Stolen Property, Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference, and Breach of the Sex Offender Registry Information Act.
