Police Appeal for Witnesses in Overnight Incident

Region of Peel – Peel Regional Police are seeking assistance from the public as they investigate an incident that occurred in the City of Brampton.

On Saturday, October 6, 2018, between the hours of 2 a.m. and 3 a.m., a 21 year-old man from Brampton was present at a shopping centre located at 30 Great Lakes Drive, Brampton. For reasons yet unknown, the man suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a trauma centre for treatment of those injuries.

Investigators believe that a motor vehicle may be responsible for the injuries that the victim suffered. As such, the Major Collision Bureau has taken carriage of this investigation.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses, who may have observed an incident at the location or any persons who may have video surveillance or dash cam footage from the area or any information regarding the incident to call investigators with the Major Collision Bureau at (905) 453-2121, ext. 3710.
