Peel Regional Police Investigating Sexual Assault in Brampton

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect involved in a sexual assault in Brampton.

On April 16, at approximately 3:00 p.m., the victim was walking on a trail in the area of Loafer’s Lake Park and Camden Park East when they were approached by an unknown male suspect, who grabbed them without provocation. The victim sustained minor injuries.

The suspect is described as a Black male with a heavy build and a black beard, approximately 5’9” tall and believed to be between 16 and 18 years of age. He was wearing a dark hoodie with a grey logo on the front and dark sweatpants.

Peel Regional Police encourages residents to remain aware of their surroundings, limit the use of headphones, and, when possible, travel with a companion.
