Peel Regional Police Appealing for Witnesses in 24th Homicide of 2018
Region of Peel –Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are investigating the 24th Homicide of 2018, which has claimed the life of a Mississauga woman.
On Tuesday, September 25, 2018 officers responded to reports of found human remains that were located in a bush area adjacent to a utility box located on the south east corner of Glen Erin Drive and Dunwin Drive, City of Mississauga. The human remains were later identified to be Xiuyan CHEN, 42 years of age.
Xiuyan CHEN had previously been reported missing on July 28, 2018.
The Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau has been investigating this incident and believe that Xiuyan CHEN met with foul play and was the victim of a homicide.
