Peel Regional Police Appealing for Witnesses in 22nd Homicide of 2018
Region of Peel â Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are investigating the 22nd Homicide of 2018, which has claimed the life of a Mississauga woman.
On Thursday, November 2, 2018, at approximately 5:40 a.m., officers responded to reports of a deceased male at a business premise located at 3446 Mavis Road in the City of Mississauga. Officers arrived and located a male who was deceased within the premises. He has been identified as Ross Ingberg, 56 years of age.
Further investigation led officers to attend a residence in the City of Mississauga. Located within the apartment was a deceased female. She has since been identified as Linda Santos, 47 years of age.
It has now been confirmed that the death of Linda Santos was the result of a homicide. Investigators are not looking for any other suspects at this time and believe this to be an isolated incident.
