Peel Regional Police Announce Promotions (2)

Region of Peel- Peel Regional Police Chief Chris McCord has announced the promotions of nine (9) officers to the rank of Staff/Detective Sergeant, with eight (8) additional names to remain on the list for future vacancies. Also being promoted are twenty-two (22) officers to the rank of Sergeant/Detective, with fifteen (15) additional names on the list for future vacancies.

Following an extensive selection and interview process, the promotions were confirmed by the Chief’s Management Group and will become effective Sunday, April 7, 2019. 

“All of the individuals who were promoted bring a wealth of experience and years of commitment to our organization. They are professional and skilled employees who will help ensure that the safety of our residents and our community is our priority.
