Peel Police - Update – Male Arrested for Mississauga Residential Fire
Region of Peel – Investigators from the Peel Regional Police 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested a male responsible for a residential fire in the City of Mississauga.
On Sunday, November 5, 2017, at approximately 1:00 a.m. Peel Regional Police responded with the Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services Department to fire at a residential building in the area of Park Street East and Helene Street North in the City of Mississauga.
A warrant of arrest for Arson-Disregard for Human Life, Arson Cause Damage to Property, Criminal Harassment and Uttering Threat to Cause Deathwas issued for Mark BLAIR, a 42 year-old male of no fixed address.
On Thursday December 7, 2017 BLAIR was arrested on the strength of the warrant by the RCMP in Ridge Meadows, British Columbia. Mark BLAIR was returned to Peel Region to face his outstanding charges. BLAIR was held for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on December 12, 2017.
