Peel Police - Two Loaded Firearms Seized and a Warrant of Arrest Issued
Region of Peel – Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have issued an arrest warrant for a male in relation to a firearms investigation in the City of Mississauga.
On Thursday March 1, 2018 at approximately 2:20 p.m. 21 Division Uniform Officers investigated a vehicle in the area of Morning Star Drive and Harwick Drive in Mississauga. One male suspect fled on foot and discarded a fully loaded FNX-9 9MM handgun. During the investigation, police also located a fully loaded Walther 9MM handgun and ammunition.
Fernanda MARTINEZ-ARGUETA, a 22 year-old female from Mississauga, was arrested and charged with two counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, two counts of Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, two counts of Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing there was Firearm, two counts of Possession of a Loaded Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition, two counts of Carrying Concealed Weapon, two counts of Unauthorized Possession of Prohibited of Restricted Weapon, and Careless Storage of Ammunition. MARTINEZ-ARGUETA attended a bail hearing on Friday March 2, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice.
Investigators with the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have issued an arrest warrant for Trevell RUMBAKI, a 23 year-old male of Mississauga, for the following offences:
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm x2
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm x2
Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing there was Firearm x2
Possession of a Loaded Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition x2
Carrying Concealed Weapon x2
Unauthorized Possession of Prohibited of Restricted Weapon x2
Careless Storage of Ammunition
Trevell RUMBAKI is described as male, multi-racial, medium complexion, 6’1’’, 139lbs, thin build, straight black hair, thin mustache, scraggly black beard and brown eyes.
