Peel Police - Two Firearms Seized and Three Arrested in Residential Search Warrant

Region of Peel – Officers from the Street Crime Gang Unit have arrested and charged two males and a female for numerous firearms and drug related offences in the City of Mississauga.

Upon the conclusion of an extensive investigation, on Friday December 15, 2017, the Street Crime Gang Unit executed a residential search warrant in the area of Croatia Drive and Confederation Parkway in the City of Mississauga.  

As a result of the search warrant, police located and seized firearms:

  • an ‘Ekol Firat’ Compact Pistol,
  • ‘High Standard’ 22 Caliber Pistol,

In addition to the firearms, quantities of illicit drugs were also seized:

  • 13.8 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine,
  • 88.5 grams of Cocaine, and;
  • 11.75 grams of Crack Cocaine

A total of $1,669.00 in Canadian Currency was seized from the residence.

The street value of the seized drugs was in excess of $10,000.00.

Robert GRANT, a 49 year-old male from Mississauga was arrested and charged with two counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, two counts of Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, two counts of Careless Storage of Firearm, two counts of Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, two counts of Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order, two counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance, Tampering with a Serial Number and Possession of Stolen Property. GRANT was held for a special bail hearing on Saturday December 15, 2017 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

Charles FLEMING, a 36 year-old male from Mississauga was arrested and charged with three counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. FLEMING was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date of Thursday January 18, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

Tashana ATTEY, a 31 year-old female from Mississauga was arrested and charged with three counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. ATTEY was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date of Thursday January 18, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
