Peel Police - Robbery Bureau Looking to Identify Bank Robbery Suspect

Region of Peel - Investigators from the Central Robbery Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a female suspect involved in a bank robbery that occurred in the City of Mississauga.

On Tuesday November 14, 2017 at approximately 11:00 a.m. a female suspect entered a bank in the area of Cawthra Road and Burnhamthorpe Road East in the City of Mississauga. The suspect approached a teller and produced a hold-up note indicating she had a gun and demanded money. The suspect did not obtain any money but fled the scene on foot.

The suspect is described as adult female wearing sunglasses, black with white striped jacket, black winter toque, black gloves, maroon and cream scarf around neck, black pants and black boots.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses that may have been in the area during the time of robbery, or who may be able to identify the suspect to contact police.
