Peel Police - Regional Council Approves the Peel Regional Police 2018 Budget

Region of Peel – We are pleased to announce that our 2018 Budget was approved by Peel Regional Council. Our budget totals $401.5 million and positions us to respond to growth in the community.

Budget highlights include: 

• Thirty-seven new police officers to respond to workload and growth pressures;
• Ten new staff members for our Communication Centre to effectively answer citizen calls and to dispatch officers;
• Five new Prisoner Escort Officers to provide security due to provincial expansion of our courthouse.
