Peel Police - Regional Council Approves the Peel Regional Police 2018 Budget
Region of Peel â We are pleased to announce that our 2018 Budget was approved by Peel Regional Council. Our budget totals $401.5 million and positions us to respond to growth in the community.

Budget highlights include:
- Thirty-seven new police officers to respond to workload and growth pressures;
- Ten new staff members for our Communication Centre to effectively answer citizen calls and to dispatch officers;
- Five new Prisoner Escort Officers to provide security due to provincial expansion of our courthouse.
