Peel Police - Public Assistance Sought to Identify Sexual Assault Suspect

Region of Peel – Investigators from Peel Regional Police’s Special Victims Unit are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a sexual assault suspect.

On Friday, September 8, 2017, at approximately 8:30 a.m., a 45 year-old female was sexually assaulted by the suspect on the roadway in the area of Wharton Way and Dundas Street East, Mississauga.  It is believed that the same suspect sexually assaulted a 22 year-old female who was standing on the roadway on the same day at approximately 4:10 p.m. in the area of Dundas Street East and Universal Drive, Mississauga.    

The descriptors of the suspect are: Male of mixed race, 17-20 years of age, 5’8”, heavy build curly black afro style hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing black pants and a light coloured shirt.

Anyone with information in relation to this incident, has camera or video footage of the areas during times indicated or can assist in identifying the suspect, is asked to contact investigators at the Special Victims Unit at 905-453-2121, ext. 3460.
