Peel Police - Police Seize a Loaded Firearm and Quantity of Drugs
Region of Peel – Investigators from the Street Crime Gang Unit have arrested and charged an adult male for numerous drug and firearm related offences including possession of Fentanyl.
On Friday November 24, 2017, police executed a search warrant on a residence and motor vehicle in the City of Toronto. Police seized a quantity of Fentanyl, Cocaine, Heroin, MDMA and a loaded handgun.
Seized
- Fentanyl - $1320 street value
- Cocaine - $1155 street value
- Heroin - $1070 street value
- Loaded 9mm Smith & Wesson semi-automatic pistol
Adrian THOMPSON, a 32 year old male from the City of Toronto has been charged with the following:
- Possession for the Purpose – Heroin
- Possession for the Purpose – Cocaine X2
- Possession for the Purpose – MDMA
- Possession for the Purpose – Fentanyl
- Unauthorized Possession Firearm
- Unauthorized Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Weapon
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
- Possession of Imitation Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Careless Storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device, Ammunition X2
- Possession of Firearm, Contrary to Order X2
- Fail to Comply with Recognizance X2
THOMPSON was held for a special bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Saturday November 25, 2017.
