Police  Seeking Public's Assistance in Stranger Assault Investigation

 

Region of Peel – Officers from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public's assistance as they investigate an assault on a female victim in the area of Crawley Park in Brampton.

On Thursday November 2, 2017 at approximately 3:09 p.m., a female was walking through Crawley Park when she was assaulted. The assault was witnessed by persons in the area and the suspect fled on foot once confronted.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’9” with a thin build, short hair wearing a grey hooded sweater, dark pants and his face was covered.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses to the incident or any persons who may have video surveillance, or any information regarding the incident.
