Police Seeking Assistance in Identifying Occupants of a Vehicle
Mississauga – Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are asking for the public’s assistance as they continue their investigation into a fatal shooting which claimed the life of a Mississauga man this past March.
On Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at approximately 9:55 p.m., officers responded to reports of gunshots in the area of Mississauga Valley Boulevard and Elm Drive in Mississauga. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, Shane THOMAS, a 28 year-old Mississauga resident who was pronounced deceased at the scene as a result of the injuries sustained.
Homicide Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying occupant(s) of a dark coloured sedan in relation to this incident. The vehicle was seen attending the Iona Square Plaza parking lot at 1585 Mississauga Valley Boulevard, Mississauga and is believed to have had contact with the victim just prior to the homicide.
