Peel Police - Police Arrest Three Males for Drugs and Firearm Offences
Region of Peel – Investigators from the Major Drugs and Vice Unit have arrested and charged three adult males for drug and firearm related offences.
The Major Drugs and Vice Unit recently commenced an investigation into individuals believed responsible for trafficking in drugs in the Region of Peel. On November 23, 2017, during a traffic stop, officers located and seized a quantity of Cocaine, Marihuana and Hashish. With the assistance of the Street Crime Gang Unit and the Tactical and Rescue Unit, several residential search warrants were then executed within the Greater Toronto Area resulting in further illegal drugs being located and the seizure of two firearms.

- 3.7 kg of Cocaine ($370 000 street value)
- 0.5 kg of Hashish ($5000 street value)
- 6.6 kg of Marihuana ($65 000 street value)
- Loaded .45 calibre Regent semi-automatic pistol
- Loaded .40 calibre Carbine compact semi-automatic rifle
- Over $16 000 in Canadian currency
Andrzej ZALEWSKI, a 39 year old male from the City of Toronto has been charged with one count of Possession for the Purpose – Cocaine and two counts of Possession for the Purpose – Marihuana. ZALEWSKI was held for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on November 24, 2017.
Aref ERFANI MOTADEL, a 24 year old male from the City of Ajax has been charged with one count of Possession for the Purpose – Cocaine, one count Possession for the Purpose – Marihuana and sixteen further firearm related offences. ERFANI MOTADEL was held for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on November 24, 2017.
Winton MCINTYRE, a 26 year old male from the City of Ajax has been charged with one count of Possession for the Purpose – Cocaine and one count of Possession for the Purpose – Marihuana. MCINTYRE was held for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on November 24, 2017.
