Peel Police - Male Arrested in Stranger Assault Investigation

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Special Victims Unit have arrested and charged an adult male in an assault incident in the area of Crawley Park in Brampton.

On Thursday November 2, 2017 at approximately 3:09 p.m., a female was walking through Crawley Park when she was assaulted. The assault was witnessed by persons in the area and the suspect fled on foot once confronted.

Michael THOMPSON, 19 years of age from the City of Brampton has been charged with Assault and Fail To Comply with Recognizance. He was held for a bail hearing at Davis Courthouse in Brampton on November 4, 2017.
