Peel Police Issue Arrest Warrant in a 2017 Drug and Gun Investigation

Region of Peel – Investigators from Peel Regional Police Major Drugs and Vice Bureau continue the investigation related to the arrest of three individuals for drug and firearms offences in November, 2017.

The Major Drugs and Vice Unit commenced an investigation in the summer of 2017 into individuals responsible for trafficking in drugs in the Region of Peel. On November 23, 2017, during a traffic stop, officers located and seized a quantity of Cocaine, Marihuana and Hashish. Several residential search warrants were then executed within the Greater Toronto Area resulting in further illegal drugs being located and the seizure of two firearms.

As a result of this on-going investigation, police have identified a fourth male.  Jurgen Walter REYES is currently wanted for the offences of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm and Breach of Firearm Prohibition Order (X2). Mr. REYES should be considered armed and dangerous.  REYES was last associated with a silver Honda Pilot with Ontario licence plate CDDS-129.
