Peel Police - Investigators Seeking Public’s Assistance in Pharmacy Robbery
Region of Peel - Investigators from the Central Robbery Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a robbery that occurred in the City of Brampton.
On Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at approximately 7:05 p.m., two unknown suspects entered a pharmacy located in the area of Vodden Street East and Lakeridge Drive, in Brampton.
The suspects, one armed with a knife and the other a gun, proceeded behind the pharmacy counter and ordered an employee to open the safe, and another employee to open the till. They then stole cash and a quantity of prescription drugs, including fentanyl and other opiates. None of the employees were injured during the robbery.
The first suspect is a white male, approximately 6’0”- 6’1”, with a slim build. He was wearing a grey, hooded sweater, grey or green pants with black patches on the back pockets, white running shoes. His face was covered with a ski mask and he was armed with a handgun.
The second suspect is a white male, approximately 5’5”-5’6”, slim build, with a shaved head. He was wearing a yellow t-shirt with “burton” written on it, and black shoes. His face was covered with a mask and he was armed with a knife.
The second suspect in this robbery is also suspected in a robbery which occurred Sunday, July 2, 2017, at 4:45 p.m., at a pharmacy in the area of Kennedy Road North and Vodden Street East in Brampton. In that incident, the suspect was wearing a blue t-shirt with “crooks” written on the front, and a black long-sleeved shirt underneath. The suspect brandished a handgun and made away with cash and a quantity of prescription drugs.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses that may have been in the area during the time of either robbery, or who may be able to identify one or both of the suspects, to contact police.
Police are advising that should anyone locate fentanyl patches, in whole or in part, that they are not to be touched. Please contact police immediately for proper disposal.
Do not ingest any medications or drugs unless they have been specifically prescribed to you by your doctor. Seek medical attention immediately if you have an adverse physical reaction to any ingested substance.
