Peel Police - Arrest Made in 9th Homicide of 2018
Region of Peel â Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are investigating the 9th homicide of 2018 which has claimed the life of a Brampton man.
On Sunday April 8, 2018, at approximately 2:15 p.m., officers responded to a call for a medical assistance at a residence located at Middleton Way and MacKay Street North in the City of Brampton. Upon arrival, officers located the victim suffering obvious signs of trauma.
The victim Valentino PAULETTO, a 46 year-old male from Brampton succumbed to his injuries.
On Sunday April 8, 2018 Homicide investigators arrested and charged John Albert LOPEZ a 36 year-old male of no fixed address for Accessory After the Fact to Murder. LOPEZ appeared at the Ontario court of Justice in Brampton on Monday April 9, 2018 for a bail hearing.
