Peel Police Appealing for Witnesses in 26th Homicide of 2018

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are investigating the 26th Homicide of 2018, which has claimed the life of an 83 year-old female from Mississauga.

On Friday, December 21, 2018 at 9:48 a.m. police attended a residence in the area of Cawthra Road and Silver Creek Boulevard in the City of Mississauga for a report of an unresponsive female. Upon arrival police located the female with signs of trauma and she was pronounced deceased at the scene.  

Investigators believe this is an isolated incident. There is no suspect information at this time.

Police are not releasing the name of the victim pending notification of next of kin.
