Peel Police Appealing for Witnesses in 10th Homicide of 2018

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are investigating the 10th homicide of 2018 which has claimed the life of a Mississauga man.

On Saturday, May 26, 2018 at approximately 1:15 a.m., officers responded to reports of a stabbing at a residence in the area of Tradewind Drive and Winston Churchill Boulevard in the City of Mississauga. Upon arrival officers located the victim with obvious signs of trauma.

The 19 year old victim was rushed to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.  The victim’s identity will be released once all next of kin have been notified.   

Investigators believe this is an isolated incident.

The investigation is on-going and suspect information is not available at this time and will be released once it is available.
