Peel Police - Appeal for Witnesses in Brampton Pedestrian Fatality
Region of Peel – Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance with their investigation into a pedestrian fatality.
On Thursday, January 18, 2018, at approximately 8:10 a.m., the victim was crossing Rosepac Avenue at Conestoga Drive in the City of Brampton when she was struck by a motor vehicle. The vehicle, a brown Chevrolet Avalanche, remained on scene.
The victim, a 73 year-old female of Hamilton, was transported to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses who may have witnessed the collision, have dashboard video footage of the incident or who may have information regarding the actions of the pedestrian and /or driver prior to the collision.
