Peel Police - 82 Year-Old Male Charged with Manslaughter
Mississauga – Peel Regional Police Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau have charged a male with Manslaughter relating to an incident that occurred inside a long-term care facility.
On Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at approximately 11:50 a.m., the victim, Keith WOOD, a 79 year-old male resident of Camilla Care Community located at 2250 Hurontario Street in the City of Mississauga was assaulted by another resident. While inside the long-term facility, the victim was struck causing him to fall to the ground. The victim suffered blunt force trauma to his head and was transported to a local hospital.
On Wednesday, November 16, 2016, the victim succumbed to his injuries. Both the victim and the accused were residents of this home at the time of this incident.
On Tuesday, January 31, 2017, Arnold KENDALL, an 82 year-old resident of the Camilla Care Community was arrested and charged with Manslaughter and remanded into custody.
