Peel Officers Trash Their ‘Stache After Successful Movember Campaign: Watch the Video
Together we can change the face of men’s health. Throughout the month of November, Peel Regional Police officers from 11 Division ‘C’ Platoon grew facial hair in support of Movember Canada. A total of $3,350 was raised for the foundation, which advocates for men’s health in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention.
On Tuesday, December 4, Liboys Barbershop in Mississauga graciously opened their doors to Peel Police to help us conclude our awareness initiative for men’s health. The participating officers received a complimentary facial hair trim or shave by the shop owner, Roberto Rago.
On behalf of 11 Division, Cst. Andrew Cooper expresses his gratitude to everyone who donated and participated in the event, stating they are “looking forward to the subsequent campaign next year”.
