New Year's Resolutions – Looking for Some Ideas for 2020?

2020 Peel

When we think about New Year’s Resolutions, we may relate to wanting to eat healthier, save money and get more exercise. We may consider reading more, sleeping more and taking up or renewing a hobby. Maybe we would like to take the time to make new friends or re-kindle relationships with friends and family. Whatever resolution challenge you intend to take on, enjoy that feeling of renewal.

Peel Regional Police has many suggestions if you are interested in making some positive changes in your life and that of your community for 2020. Commit with us on any number of the following positive acts.

  1. I will be more patient in my daily life both with others and with myself.
  2. I will commit to at least one act of kindness every day.
  3. I will commit to getting to know my neighbours better and learning more about how I can contribute to the safety of my community
  4. I will continue my commitment to plan my R.I.D.E for safe transportation.
  5. I will hone in on my inner Super Hero by not allowing myself to get distracted by any device while I operate my motor vehicle, ride my bicycle or out for a walk.

Happy New Year everyone and good luck with your resolutions. We are right there with you.

A safer community together.
