My Bike Helmet Saved My Life

A true story... In the summer early one morning, a woman set out on her bicycle on her way to the gym. She pedalled her bike steadily, driving on the right hand side of road with traffic. She used her arm signals with a light and bell properly mounted. As she entered an intersection on the green light, a vehicle making a left turn suddenly struck her. In a flash she was in the air, crashing down onto the hood of car with her head slamming into the windshield. She awoke on the ground with paramedics around her. At the hospital the doctor examined her helmet and noted the marks and crack. The helmet saved her life. She left later that day slowly, sprained, bruised, with stitches in her head and a concussion but...alive.

No one knows when an accident may occur, it is important to be prepared every time you set out.
