Mississauga Man Wanted in Sexual Assault Investigation
Region of Peel – Investigators from the Special Victims Unit (SVU) are seeking to locate a Mississauga man wanted in connection with a sexual assault investigation.
On Tuesday, Feb. 3, investigators were made aware of multiple alleged sexual assaults that occurred at a place of worship in Brampton. As a result of the investigation, Christopher Brito De Araujo (24) is wanted for the following offences:

- Sexual Assault x5
- Sexual Exploitation x4
- Sexual Interference
- Voyeurism
- Distribute Intimate Images Without Consent
Investigators confirmed that on Monday, Feb. 2, Brito De Araujo fled the country to Brazil.
The accused was a youth director at a church in Brampton and led multiple programs attended by youth. The investigation remains ongoing and investigators believe there may be additional victims.
