Mississauga Carjacking Suspects Arrested

Region of Peel – Peel Regional Police’s Central Robbery Bureau has arrested and charged two individuals in connection with a violent carjacking spree that targeted victims in Mississauga over the span of one week.

On Sept. 27, 2025, a woman parked her 2011 Mitsubishi in a plaza in the area of Erin Mills Parkway and Folkway Drive.  As the victim exited her vehicle she was approached by two suspects, both armed with knives. The suspects threw the victim to the ground and punched her in the face. The suspects fled in the victim’s vehicle which was recovered the next day.

On Oct. 2, two additional carjacking attempts occurred in the area of Erin Mills Parkway and Eglinton Avenue West.  In the first incident, the victim was returning to his 2025 Hyundai Tucson when he was approached by two suspects who were armed with scissors. The suspects attempted to stab the victim while trying to steal the victim’s keys. The victim was able to enter his vehicle and lock the doors and the suspects fled on foot.

A short time later, both suspects approached another victim as he returned to his 2025 Nissan Sentra and made demands for the vehicle keys. A struggle ensued where the victim was thrown to the ground and kicked. The suspects were unsuccessful in getting the victim’s keys and fled the area on foot.

The victims of these incidents all suffered minor physical injuries.

In a well-coordinated response, uniform officers from 11 Division and the K9 unit immediately attended and searched the area. Both suspects were located and arrested in the backyard of a nearby house.

A 16-year-old young person was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Robbery (X3)
  • Wearing a Disguise While Committing an Indictable Offence (X3)
