Media Invite - 2018 Peel Regional Police Safe Place Campaign Launch
Region of Peel – On Thursday, July 5, 2018, the Peel Regional Police Safe Place Campaign Launch will take place at the Peel Regional Police Headquarters, located at 7150 Mississauga Road in the City of Mississauga.
Our goal is to have businesses within the Region of Peel to register and become a part of the Safe Place Program to support the LGBTQ2S+ community members who may have been victimized and raise awareness for the community as a whole.
By placing a decal in your window, you will be clearly identifying your premise as a safe location for members of the LGBTQ2S+ community to attend in a time of need and showing support for the program.
Chief Jennifer Evans will be in attendance for the raising of the rainbow flag at 10:00 a.m.
