Man Charged With Numerous Firearms Offences
Region of Peel â Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have charged a male with numerous firearms related offences.
On Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at approximately 11:00 p.m. officers from 22 Division conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle in the area of McLaughlin Rd and Williams Parkway in the City of Brampton.
As a result of the investigation, a man was arrested at the above location at which time it was discovered that he was in possession of a firearm.
As a result, Shakiel LEDFORD, an 18 year-old man from Brampton, was charged with numerous firearms related offences.
Shakiel LEDFORD was held for a bail hearing at the A. Grenville & William Davis Court House in the City of Brampton.
