Man Charged in a Child Pornography Investigation

Region of Peel– Investigators from the Internet Child Exploitation Unit have arrested and charged a man in a child pornography investigation.

On Friday, November 23, 2018, following an investigation, a search warrant was executed on a residence in the City of Brampton.

John Gordon Abbott, a 68 year-old man from Brampton, was arrested and charged with Possession of Child Pornography, Accessing Child Pornography and Make Available Child Pornography. He appeared for a bail hearing on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
