Male Wanted in 2017 Drug and Gun Investigation Surrenders
Region of Peel â An investigation by the Peel Regional Police Major Drugs and Vice Bureau has led to the arrest of several individuals for drug and firearms offences in November, 2017.
The Major Drugs and Vice Unit commenced an investigation in the summer of 2017, into individuals responsible for trafficking in drugs in the Region of Peel. On November 23, 2017, during a traffic stop, officers located and seized a quantity of Cocaine, Marihuana and Hashish. Several residential search warrants were then executed within the Greater Toronto Area resulting in further illegal drugs being located and the seizure of two firearms. Three males were arrested and charge in relation to this investigation.
On March 19, 2018, a warrant of arrest was issued for Jurgen Walter REYES for the offences of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm and Breach of Firearm Prohibition Order (X2).
On April 3, 2018 REYES surrendered to Peel Regional Police and was held for a bail hearing.
