Male Arrested for Mississauga Playground Fire

Region of Peel– Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have made an arrest regarding a Mississauga playground fire.

On November 19, 2018 between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. the playground on the west side of Paul Coffey Arena was set on fire causing extenstive damage to the wooden structure.

On Sunday, February 17, 2019, Manjit Bahara, a 51 year-old male from the City of Mississauga was arrested. He was charged with one count of Mischief Over $5000 and was released on his own recognizance with a court date in March.
