Male Arrested and Charged in Relation to 17 Break and Enters

Region of Peel– Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested a male in relation to 17 commercial break-ins within the Region of Peel.

Between the months of July and September, a male suspect entered 17 different commercial properties at various locations in the City of Mississauga.

Investigators were able to identify the suspect and located him shortly before 2:00 a.m. on September 13, 2018 . After a brief foot pursuit, the suspect was taken into custody.

As a result, Seamus McMullen a 36 year-old man from Mississauga, was charged with 17 counts of break and enter.  McMullen was held for a bail hearing and will attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Thursday, September 13, 2018 to answer to the charges.
