Male Arrested and Charged in Attempt Murder
On September 8th, 2018 the victim was shot at a Sports Bar located at Peter Robertson Blvd and Dixie Rd in the City of Brampton. The victim suffered a gunshot wound and he was transported to hospital. The victim suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
On September 18th, 2018 police arrested Julian Shand, a 27 year-old from Brampton. He was charged with attempt murder, discharge firearm with intent and several firearms and drug trafficking related charges. He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton for a bail hearing on September 19, 2018.
Police recovered a .22 calibre Arminus revolver handgun, ammunition and a quantity of crack cocaine with a street value of $9800 CAD.
