Loaded Gun Seized During Traffic Stop
Region of Peelâ Uniform patrol officers from 22 Division have arrested and charged a 27-year-old man with numerous firearm related offences.
On Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at approximately 3:00 a.m., a traffic stop was conducted near Clark Boulevard and Rutherford Road South in the City of Brampton.
Further investigation led to police seizing a loaded Glock 19 semi-automatic firearm and a quantity of Methamphetamine. Jammarre Miller, a 27-year-old man from Brampton was arrested and charged with the following :
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of a Loaded Prohibited Firearm
- Careless Storage of a Firearm
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Possess Firearm with Altered Serial Number
- Occupant of a Motor Vehicle Knowing there was a Firearm
- Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device
- Possession of a Controlled Substance - Methamphetamine
Jammarre Miller was held for a bail hearing and appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on March 3, 2020.
