Lights, Pumpkin, Action – Staying Safe this Halloween with Officer Michelle

WATCH

If you ask our kids, Halloween night is all about ghosts, goblins and, priority number one, CANDY! In reality, the greatest concern of parents is the safety of our kids while they trick-or-treat.

Before they head out in search of goodies, it’s important to remind our little ones of these important safety rules:

  • Only go to houses that have lights on and are decorated for Halloween. These are indicators that the people living there have candy to give out and want to take part in the frightening festivities.
  • Children should always go to the front doors and never enter into any home, no matter what.

Please make sure your children are with a parent or guardian so that we all can have a safe and fright-tastic night.
