Investigation Underway in Mississauga Murder
Region of Peel â Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are investigating after a deceased woman was found in a Mississauga residence
In the morning hours of Tuesday, August 18, 2020, emergency services received a call in regards to an elderly woman who found deceased by a care provider within a residence on Kaneff Crescent in the City of Mississauga. The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene and an investigation commenced.
The victim has been identified as Marion Wallace, an 81-year-old resident of Mississauga.
Lawton Wallace, an 86-year-old man from the City of Mississauga has been arrested and charged with First Degree Murder in relation to this incident. He is currently in custody awaiting a bail hearing scheduled for August 19, 2020 at the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Brampton
This is an isolated incident. Investigators are not seeking any outstanding suspects. The victim and the accused were married at the time of the incident.
