Gun Recovered from Brampton Residence
Region of Peelâ Officers from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested and charged a Brampton man with firearms related offence.
On Thursday, January 10, 2019 officers conducted a search warrant at a residence located in the area of Main Street and Nanwood Drive in the City of Brampton. During the course of the search, officers located a combination 22 caliber rifle and 20 gauge shotgun within the residence.
As a result, Vincent Robichaud, an 41-year-old man from Brampton, was arrested and charged with the following offences:
1) Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm x2
2) Trafficking in Firearm, Weapon, Device or Ammunition
3) Careless Storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition x2
4) Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
5) Fail to Comply with Recognizance
Vincent Robichaud will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Brampton on January 11, 2019 in answer to the charges.
