Gun and Drugs Recovered from Mississauga Residence
Region of Peel– Officers from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested and charged a Mississauga man with firearms and drug related offences.
On Saturday, February 16, 2019 officers conducted a search warrant at a residence located in the area of Queen Street and Britannia Road West in the City of Mississauga. During the course of the search, officers located a loaded firearm and cocaine with a street value of over $46,000.
As a result, Phillip Grant, a 28-year-old man from Mississauga, was arrested and charged with:
1. Breach of Probation X 5
2. Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
3. Possession of Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
4. Carless Storage of Firearm
5. Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
6. Unauthorized Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
7. Possession of a loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
8. Assault Police
9. Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
Phillip Grant appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Brampton on February 17, 2019.
