Gun and Ammunition Seized Following Traffic Stop
Region of Peel - Officers from 11 Division have charged a Toronto man with firearms related offences following a traffic stop in Mississauga.
On Sunday, March 31, 2019 officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Argentia Road and Winston Churchill Boulevard in Mississauga. During the traffic stop, officers observed a quantity of marijuana readily available to the driver as well as a handgun. A Taurus G2C 9mm handgun and ammunition were seized.
Jahvar Green, a 21 year-old man from Toronto, was arrested and charged with numerous firearms offences. He appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on April 1, 2019 for a bail hearing.
